Mr and Mrs Wye - York, North Yorkshire.
This garden design is for a small garden that faces south and already has a summer house in place.
My and Mrs Wye wanted a very low maintenance garden that contained lots of interest around the half completed deck and summerhouse.
I designed this area to be informal with no borders in the garden, just planting through a gravel surface. It worked very well as the gravel was all the same level and they could walk around the garden, to and from the summerhouse without anything to trip over. The planting worked well and I know over the years they have added to it, all through the gravel for a completely natural look.
